Are there any websites or exercises that help relieve lower back pain. My back always feels like its going to snap off or something when i try making fast movements. its been like that for years since an accident, but i dont have medical so i cant ask a doctor.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Is yoga any good.

yes, try yoga because it’s good for increasing your flexibility along with back flexibility. I got my dad to do yoga and he said his back felt a little better.
Another solution is get a massage/visit chiropractor.

My mom’s back pain is probably caused by her car accident a few years back. She’s had 3 cortisone shots 2 years ago and now the pain is coming back. I’ve read up on stretches, massage the muscle…etc……is there any other method that anyone has tried that might help? She’s taking aleve every day and thats not gonna be good in the long run.

correct the root cause in the upper neck. see an hio method upper cervical specific chiropractor.

I have mild shoulder pain, which really only bothers me while sleeping (not during the day). I’ve always been a side sleeper, and I’m having a hard time adjusting to sleeping on my back. Is there anything I can do to relieve the pressure on my shoulder while I sleep on my side? A certain way to arrange pillows? Or a specialty product specifically made for this issue?
Yes, I’ve already seen a doctor, and am going through physical therapy. But in the meantime, I need some relief.

How about putting a lot of pillow on top of each other so you are almost in a sitting position and when you are lying on that side prop another pillow under your head and lay the bad shoulder in the fluff of pillows. That might give it some comfort. That is how some os my patients have dealt with sleeping.

My back is killing me right now. I can’t seem to get comfortable. It hurts the worst when I am sitting, though if I lay in a position too long, it hurts then as well (I had a hard time sleeping last night). It’s a little uncomfortable when I am standing. Any ideas to help relieve it?

try the ace or thermacare heat things that stick to your skin. they work miracles. i have the same problem and started putting them on yesterday afternoon…no pain yet. its amazing.

I have a track meet tomorrow but my lower left back is kind of hurting. I mean, it’s not hurting to the point where I should sit out of the meet tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone knows how to relieve it..? Do I ice it, rub it, take pain reliever, do stretches?? I already took a couple of Ibuprofin. Also, does anyone know stretches for the back? I really want to make sure my back is feeling better for tomorrow.

one very good thing to do for your back and posture is to stand against a wall and slowly roll downwards, make sure you start by tucking your head then rolling your neck and slowly your back until you’re bending in half and allow your arms to hang down and try to reach the floor. the goal of this activity is to properly align your spine, your spine should be straight and every vertebrae should be touching the wall from your neck to your waist. once your bending down then slowly roll back up to a standing position. it’s a very good stretch as well. this is an exercise i have my clients to to help their backs. (i’m a massage therapist) heat is always a good idea. there are also some good stretches for the back demonstrated on youtube. good luck!!!
